Recreation Swim Coach - Boys/Girls
Successful candidates will have extensive swimming experience and can build a strong recreation club swim program.
Lifeguard- Part time
Successful candidate is responsible for ensuring the safety of facility patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies. Exceptional customer service is required.
Water Exercise Instructor
Successful candidates are responsible for teaching their assigned classes while providing motivation, monitoring, education and appropriate modifications. Instructors should provide world-class customer service, help promote member retention and maintain a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for participants.
Water Safety Instructor
Successful candidate is responsible for planning and teaching group swim lessons and private lessons for patrons of the Charlotte Aquatic Center.
District Monitor
Successful candidate is responsible for the protection of Charlotte Public Schools property and equipment at / in the rented area or building. The monitor must be on site and at the point of the activity during the length of the rental period.
High School Track Assistant Coach
This position is for the 2022 -2023 Season. Successful candidates will have extensive track and field experience and can assist in building a strong athletic program.

STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES
Middle School Guidance Counselor, Full Time
Under the general supervision of the Middle School Principal, this position provides mentoring, guidance, and academic counseling for middle school students.
Upper Elementary Student Support Specialist
The Student Support Specialist is to identify and assist students to overcome barriers that interfere with learning through the use of assessment, counseling, consultation, coordination of school and community resources, and program development. The Student Support Specialist utilizes knowledge of human behavior, social, cultural and community influences to help create a positive learning climate. Provides case management services.
Gen Ed Lunch Paraprofessionals - Part Time
The role of the paraprofessional is to provide additional support in the lunchroom/playground. The paraprofessional’s goal is to assist in providing a well-organized, smooth functioning school environment in which all children can take full advantage of the instructional program and available resource materials.
Special Ed Paraprofessional - Washington Elementary, Full Time
The role of the paraprofessional is to provide additional support in the classroom setting, as well as lunchroom/playground. The paraprofessional’s goal is to assist in providing a well-organized, smooth functioning school environment in which all children can take full advantage of the instructional program and available resource materials. The primary function of this role will be assisting within the special education program.
Media Center Paraprofessional-Elementary, Full Time
The role of the media center paraprofessional is to provide meaningful experiences in the media center to elementary age students, as well as student supervision in the lunch room and playground setting. The paraprofessional’s goal is to assist in providing a well-organized, smooth functioning school environment in which all children can take full advantage of the instructional program and available resource materials. The primary function of this role will be providing media center services to students and student supervision.
General Education Paraprofessional, Upper Elementary
The role of the paraprofessional is to provide additional support in the lunchroom, playground and student needs of the building. The paraprofessional’s goal is to assist in providing a well-organized, smooth functioning school environment in which all children can take full advantage of the instructional program and available resource materials. The primary function of this role will be lunchroom and playground supervision.

High School Math Teacher- Full Time
Teacher will have responsibilities for direct instruction in the subject area of Math for students at the high school level. A wide variety of tasks are performed in the teaching-learning process for students, the primary one being to help students learn the subject matter and skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible adults.
High School Special Education Teacher- Full Time
Teacher will assist in fostering student growth in a resource capacity for high school students identified as eligible for special education services. Assist in developing, facilitating, and conducting, monitoring and adjusting instructional opportunities for students. Complete necessary paperwork, documentation, narrative reports, correspondence and evaluation measures to assure all free and appropriate public education (FAPE) requirements are met in a professional and timely manner.
High School ELA Teacher- Full Time
Teacher will have responsibilities for direct instruction in the subject area of ELA for students at the high school level. A wide variety of tasks are performed in the teaching-learning process for students, the primary one being to help students learn the subject matter and skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible adults.
High School Social Studies Teacher- Full Time
Teacher will have responsibilities for direct instruction in the subject area of Social Studies for students at the high school level. A wide variety of tasks are performed in the teaching-learning process for students, the primary one being to help students learn the subject matter and skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible adults.
Elementary Special Education Teacher - Full Time

TRANSPORTATION
School Bus Driver - Permanent Float
A Permanent Float school bus driver is responsible for safe operation of the school bus according to district policy as well as state and federal regulations. Additionally, a school bus driver must effectively manage student behavior while the students are on the bus. This position will temporarily be assigned to a specific route, 5.25 hours per day. Once the temporary assignment is completed, the position will be guaranteed 2 hours/day with the option of additional hours if available.
School Bus Driver - Permanent Float
A Permanent Float school bus driver is responsible for safe operation of the school bus according to district policy as well as state and federal regulations. Additionally, a school bus driver must effectively manage student behavior while the students are on the bus. This position is guaranteed 4 hours/day with the option of additional hours if available.
Substitute School Bus Driver - Part Time/On-Call
A substitute school bus driver is responsible for safe operation of the school bus according to district policy as well as state and federal regulations. Additionally, a substitute school bus driver must effectively manage student behavior while the students are on the bus. This position will not have a regularly assigned route.
