Athletics
Charlotte Public Schools takes great pride in its athletic programs and offerings. Charlotte is a Division 2 school district competing in the Capital Area Athletic Conference (CAAC).
We have some of the finest athletic facilities in the area. Our high school gymnasium, the “Dome,” is known statewide for its grandeur and history. The Ron Schultheiss Athletic Complex for track, soccer, and football is second to none.
At Charlotte, we feel that athletics can help to teach our student athletes some of the greatest lessons in life. Our athletes learn commitment, perseverance, and team work; they learn attitude, responsibility, and accountability. These qualities help to make a well-rounded student and prepares Charlotte students for wherever life takes them after high school.
