Administrative Assistants

High School Administrative Assistant FT

The Building Secretary performs a variety of administrative support and clerical functions for Charlotte High School.  The work assignment is 44 weeks per year, 40 hours per week.
 The Building Secretary is the first ambassador of the school that the public encounters.  This individual must remain flexible in nature, possess a positive attitude at all times, and maintain confidentiality regarding staff, students, and parents. 

Charlotte Performing Arts Center (CPAC) Technical Assistant

Assist the Supervisor of Performing Arts Center with technical, operational, and maintenance activities of the Center.  Job entails a flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.  In absence of the Supervisor, Technical Assistant will function as Build/Event Coordinator.  The ideal candidate will have a passion for the performing arts and a willingness to learn and grow within the field of technical theater. 

Athletics & Activities

Freshman Girls Basketball Coach

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Freshman Girls Basketball Coach for the upcoming seasonal basketball program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing young athletes, promoting teamwork, and fostering a positive and inclusive environment. This position requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to the growth and development of each player, both on and off the court.

Esports Coach

Charlotte Public Schools is seeking a High School eSports Head Coach who can lead the eSports program. 

Girls Head Wrestling Coach

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to lead our Girls Wrestling program as the Head Coach. This full-time position requires a strong commitment to developing athletes both on and off the mat, fostering a positive team culture, and promoting the values of sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth. The Head Coach will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the wrestling program, including training, competition, and athlete development.

J V Head Softball Coach

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to serve as the Head Softball Coach for the Junior Varsity team during the upcoming seasonal period. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the game, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive and competitive environment for student-athletes. The Head Coach will be responsible for developing athletes' skills, promoting teamwork, and ensuring a successful season.

Athletic Trainer

Charlotte Public Schools is actively seeking an athletic trainer to join our team! The goal of the athletic trainer is to provide appropriate preventative and post-injury treatment to athletes. Work in a safe manner consistent with safety policies.

ChildCare

Assistant Preschool Teacher

Weymouth Child Development Center is seeking a nurturing, dependable, and enthusiastic Assistant Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood team. The Assistant Teacher will support the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, loving, and developmentally appropriate environment for children ages 3–5. This role is ideal for someone passionate about early childhood education and eager to make a positive impact during this critical stage of development.

School Age Assistant Teacher

Weymouth Child Development Center is looking for a caring, dependable, and motivated School Age Assistant Teacher to support the daily operations of our school age program, which serves children ages 5–12 during before and after school hours, school breaks, and summer. The Assistant Teacher will work under the guidance of the Lead Teacher to create a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment that encourages children's development and creativity.

Weymouth Childcare Substitute Teacher
The role of the Childcare Substitute Teacher is to provide additional support in the childcare setting, as well as lunchroom/playground.

Weymouth Child Care Assistant Teacher Before/After School

We are seeking a Part Time Child Care Assistant Teacher to work before and after school hours at our Weymouth location. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and a passion for providing a safe and nurturing environment for them to learn and grow.

Student Support Services

Gen Ed/Lunch Paraprofessional, Part Time

The role of the paraprofessional is to provide additional support in the lunchroom/playground. The paraprofessional's goal is to assist in providing a well-organized, smooth functioning school environment in which all children can take full advantage of the instructional program and available resource materials. The primary function of this role will be lunchroom and playground supervision.

Lunch/Recess PT, MS/Upper EL

The role of the paraprofessional is to provide additional support in the lunchroom/playground. The paraprofessional's goal is to assist in providing a well-organized, smooth functioning school environment in which all children can take full advantage of the instructional program and available resource materials. The primary function of this role will be lunchroom and playground supervision.

Lunch/Recess Paraprofessional, PT,PK

The role of the paraprofessional is to provide additional support in the lunchroom/playground. The paraprofessional's goal is to assist in providing a well-organized, smooth functioning school environment in which all children can take full advantage of the instructional program and available resource materials. The primary function of this role will be lunchroom and playground supervision.

General Education Paraprofessional, FT - Parkview Elementary

The role of the paraprofessional is to provide additional support in the general education classroom and lunchroom/playground. The paraprofessional's goal is to assist in providing a well-organized, smooth functioning school environment in which all children can take full advantage of the instructional program and available resource materials. The primary function of this role will be lunchroom and playground supervision.

Teachers

Special Education Teacher, Middle School, Full Time

A strong teacher leader to assist in fostering student growth in a special education resource room for middle school students identified as eligible for special education services. Strong curricular knowledge regarding math and science as well as a clear understanding of appropriate interventions and accommodations. EI experience strongly preferred.  Assist in developing, facilitating, and conducting, monitoring and adjusting instructional opportunities for students. Complete necessary paperwork, documentation, narrative reports, correspondence and evaluation measures to assure all free and appropriate public education (FAPE) requirements are met in a professional and timely manner.

Kindergarten Teacher, Galewood Early Elementary

Elementary teachers will have responsibilities for kindergarten direct instruction to students. A wide variety of tasks are performed in the teaching-learning process for students, the primary one being to help students learn the subject matter and skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible adults. 

Transportation

School Bus Driver - Permanent Float 6 hours/day
A Permanent Float school bus driver is responsible for safe operation of the school bus according to district policy as well as state and federal regulations.  Additionally, a school bus driver must effectively manage student behavior while the students are on the bus.  This position is guaranteed 6 hours/day with the option of additional hours if available.

Substitute School Bus Driver - Part Time/On-Call
A substitute school bus driver is responsible for safe operation of the school bus according to district policy as well as state and federal regulations.  Additionally, a substitute school bus driver must effectively manage student behavior while the students are on the bus.  This position will not have a regularly assigned route.
