Stroke Clinics are for competitive swimmers or those that are level 4 or 5 in American Red Cross lessons that are wanting to refine and improve their strokes. Participants must wear a competitive suit and have cap and goggles. Please bring a water bottle to practice. Registration is available online or for more information call 517.541.5740.

springboard diving lessons

Springboard Diving Lessons $75 per person per session
Join us for springboard diving lessons. Lessons will take place at the Aquatic Center daily Monday through Thursday and include both dry land time and water time. Participants will learn front jumps in the basic straight, tuck and pike positions along with lineups and triple jumps. There will be an introduction to hurdles as well. Participants should wear shorts and t-shirt and bring a suit and towel. Participants must be at least 7 years old and able to swim to the side from the diving board.

Pre-Registration is not required, but recommended. We can only have 30 people attend our Swim In Movies.

Register in advance for $7 per person or pay $10 per person at the door. Please bring your own personal raft. Light concessions will be available for $2 each item. No outside food is permitted. All movies are shown in our therapy pool. The water temperature is 92 degrees. Parents must be in the water with anyone younger than 8 years old.

Join us for Saturday morning cartoons in the Therapy pool! This time is designated for young families. An adult must accompany children into the water. Special Swims

Drop the kids off to swim at the Charlotte Aquatic Center with lots of other children. We will have additional lifeguards on duty and the Wibit in the water. No registration is needed, we do ask that you come in and sign them in and out with the lifeguards. This will be available Monday through Friday beginning June 9th and ending August 15th. You can register and pay online for up to a month at a time. Register Here
Pool Party Time: 1:00 - 4:30 PM
$5 per person for 90 minutes of swimming anytime during the afternoon.

Saturday morning cartoons
Join us for Saturday morning cartoons in the Therapy pool! This time is designated for young families. An adult must accompany children into the water. Participants must be able to attend ALL training dates. There is also 9 hours of online training that must be completed by Wednesday, August 13th before class. This training includes CPR for the Professional Rescuer. It is a two year Certification.

Participants must attend ALL training dates to receive a certificate. Participants will not receive an American Red Cross certificate as we teach both ARC principles and have hands on experience time. This course takes place at Weymouth Child Development Center.
