August 22 is the Start of the New School Year
Open houses are planned at each building to help students make the transition back to school
While we are still enjoying the warm weather and summer vacation, it is getting close to the start of school! This will be an exciting start to the 2022-23 school year, as we wrap up our Phase 2 construction projects and start opening up to the public with our Open Houses. If you haven’t visited some of our newer updates, I would encourage you to check out our completed tennis/pickleball courts, the Agricultural Learning Center, and the new parking lots at several of our buildings. When you visit classrooms this year, the new furniture and flexible learning spaces are impressive to see!
Open House events are coming up on August 16th and 17th, and we encourage you to attend with your families. Dates and times are below and they are staggered so that if you have multiple children in the district, you can still attend each event:
Galewood Early Elementary – 8/17/22 5:00-6:00 pm
Washington and Parkview Elementary – 8/17/22 5:30-6:30 pm
Charlotte Upper Elementary – 8/17/22 6:00-7:00 pm
Charlotte Middle School- 8/17/22 6:30-7:30 pm
Charlotte High School – Freshman Orientation 8/16/22 6:00 pm
Sophomore/Junior/Senior 8/16/22 7:00 pm
Project Success 8/16/22 7:00 pm
