As we start the second half of our year, I wanted to remind our community about the CPS staff recognition program, “The Chirp”! This is an easy and quick online form that can be filled out at the link/webpage below, to recognize the amazing work of our Charlotte employees. You can add your name or remain anonymous, but this “Cheer Chirp” allows for positive communications to be made public to our staff. Please note that this includes all of our employees, as we need every teacher, assistant, technology, food service, transportation, administration, paraprofessional, maintenance, and custodial staff member to support our student on their educational journey in Charlotte Public Schools!

All over the nation, there are staffing concerns in education. There are less people going into educational training programs, less applicants, and more people leaving the educational profession. While there are various reasons for these losses, it is important to validate our hard working staff, and show them that we care! For me, there are many wonderful aspects about working in Charlotte Public Schools, but the quality of the staff and how much they care about our students is unmatched. Please take a moment and let a staff member know how they have helped your family, and it will make their day special!
