Community 2020 Bond Bus Tour Planned

To celebrate our massive 2020 Bond project, you are invited to a special Construction Ceremony and Bus Tour on Monday, October 2nd

Thinking back to November 2020, when the overwhelming support from our community passed the CPS 2020 Bond Proposal, it seems like time has flown by, and we are nearing the end of all three Phases of construction at Charlotte Public Schools! · Classroom/Instructional Technology Upgrades

· Flexible Media Center Furniture

· Replacement Classroom Furniture for educational adaptability

· New Agricultural Learning Center

· Removal of Portable classrooms

· 7 classroom Addition at Galewood elementary

· 5 classroom addition at Washington Elementary

· New Tennis/Pickle Ball courts

· Site Lighting/Safety

· New Auxiliary gym

· New Band Instruments- CHS

To celebrate this massive project, you are invited to a special 2020 Bond Construction Ceremony and Bus Tour on Monday, October 2nd. We will start promptly at 5:00 pm in the NEW Charlotte High School Auxiliary Gym. You will hear about all of the improvements that have taken place in our facilities since the bond was passed in 2020 and see first-hand the investment that has been made by our community to enhance the learning environment for our students. You will find a schedule of events below, including a FREE Thank You Swim following the event for those on the bus tour. We are excited to share all of the facility improvements provided through the 2020 Capital Improvement Bond and hope that you will join us.

5:15 Guided Charlotte High School Tour

5:45 Buses Leave Passing By Charlotte Middle School, Charlotte Upper Elementary, Charlotte Aquatic Center, and Parkview Elementary

6:15 Galewood Elementary Ceremony and Guided Walking Tour

6:45 Buses Leave For Washington Elementary For Guided Walking Tour

7:15 Buses Leave Passing By Weymouth Child Development Center and Returning To CHS for Grab And Go Cookie and Water

7:45-9:00 pm (optional) Finish Your Tour with A FREE Thank You Swim Event At Charlotte Aquatic Center!!
