Strategic Planning Final Phase
Phase three goals: "Soaring"
In our third installment of our CPS Strategic Plan communication roll out, we are focusing on Phase Three: “Soaring”. In previous articles, we went over Phase One; “Taking Flight” which had goal areas that included security, staff retention, communicating district procedures, and increasing extra-curricular activities across the district. Phase Two: “Gaining Altitude” included goal topics for behavior expectations, communications, student-staff relationships, positive experiences, and staff professional development opportunities. Below is our last phase of the Strategic Plan for CPS!
Phase III – Soaring
- To adopt a district-wide framework to create consistent access to academic and behavioral supports.
- Increase the effectiveness of student transitions between buildings to cultivate continued student growth.
- Build a framework that promotes early and ongoing understanding of post-secondary opportunities.
As we move forward, we will create committees around our goal areas with various stakeholders, so that we can work with our staff and community to create action steps for future progress. We will be reporting out quarterly at public board meetings, so that you can be updated on our improvements and success! Thank you for your feedback and support as we Grow, Learn, Play…The Oriole Way!
Go Orioles! Oriole Pride!
