Charlotte Public Schools is addressing ongoing roof maintenance at CUE/Middle School. Recent independent testing confirmed no mold or air quality issues. While roof leaks are being repaired under warranty, the district is exploring long-term solutions, including a potential sinking fund. CPS Roof Repairs Update:

No major damage from recent storms. Leaks in identified areas will be repaired next week. CEI starts work April 8th at multiple schools. Emergency repairs underway at CUE/CMS, with long-term solutions being explored. Updates to follow.
